How MinskyAI Technology Limited collects, uses, and protects personal data in connection with SYVA. Written for the United Kingdom and Hong Kong.

生效日期 13 September 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how MinskyAI Technology Limited (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects personal data when you use the SYVA website, request a trial or pilot, contact us, or try the Voice concierge on this site.

We operate in the United Kingdom and Hong Kong. This policy is written to meet the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, and the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) (“PDPO”). Where European Union personal data is processed, we apply equivalent safeguards.

We do not sell personal data.

1. Who we are

The SYVA website and related public forms are operated by MinskyAI Technology Limited, a company established in the United Kingdom. We work with our Hong Kong affiliate, MinskyAI Tech Limited. Together we run dual operations in the UK and Hong Kong.

For personal data collected on this website, MinskyAI Technology Limited is the data controller under UK law and a data user under the PDPO.

Contact: info@minskyaitech.com.hk.

2. What this policy covers

This policy applies to:

  • this public website and its forms;
  • the Voice concierge (SYVA Product Concierge) on this website, provided for evaluation purposes only;
  • email and other messages you send to us about SYVA, pilots, security, or investment.

It does not govern customer production deployments of SYVA. Production is designed to run on the customer’s premises, in the customer’s private cloud, or on isolated networks with no external connectivity. In those engagements we typically act as a processor (or equivalent) under a contract and, where required, a Data Processing Agreement. Customer production data is not used to train foundation models.

3. Personal data we collect

Trial or pilot requests

When you submit the request form we store your name, work email, company, role (if given), product interest, deployment preference, and the use case you describe. If you choose “Other”, we also store the remark you type. We send a confirmation to your email and notify our team.

In-call callback

If you ask the Voice concierge to log a callback, we may store your name, email, company, product, telephone number, and message so we can follow up.

Voice concierge

If you start a call, your browser will ask for microphone access. We process live audio so the agent can hear you, and we store the text transcript of the conversation on our servers so our team can follow up and review use of the evaluation service. We do not store the microphone audio. A random session identifier is stored in your browser (see Cookies and local storage). The Voice concierge on this website is provided for evaluation purposes only. It is not a customer production environment and it does not grant access to production software or services.

Direct contact

If you send the Contact form or email us (including via Contact or Investors), we process the address and content you send, and any follow-up correspondence. Contact form rows are stored with trial and callback requests.

Technical data

Our hosts and the systems that support the Voice concierge may record IP address, browser type, pages requested, time, and similar logs needed to operate, secure, and debug the site. We also store first-party page views (path, United Kingdom or Hong Kong site variant, referrer, and campaign parameters) without advertising cookies so staff can see which pages were read. We do not run advertising or cross-site analytics pixels on this website.

4. How we use personal data

We use personal data to:

  • respond to trial, pilot, architecture-review, waitlist, and partnership requests;
  • operate the Voice concierge and improve its reliability and safety;
  • send the confirmation and follow-up you asked for;
  • protect the site against abuse, spam, and security incidents;
  • meet legal, accounting, and regulatory duties;
  • keep records of commercial and investor conversations you start with us.

We do not use website enquiry data to train public foundation models.

5. United Kingdom (UK GDPR)

Where UK GDPR applies, we rely on these lawful bases:

  • Legitimate interests — to reply to business enquiries, run the Voice concierge on this site, keep the site secure, and grow SYVA in a B2B context. You may object; see Your rights.
  • Consent — microphone access in the browser, and any optional marketing we may send later (we do not add you to a marketing list from the trial form alone).
  • Contract — where we take steps at your request before entering a pilot or supply contract.
  • Legal obligation — where the law requires us to keep or disclose records.

Providing a work email and use case is required if you want us to process a trial or pilot request. You do not have to use the Voice concierge.

6. Hong Kong (PDPO)

This section is the personal information collection statement for visitors in Hong Kong.

Purpose. We collect personal data to handle your enquiry, operate the Voice concierge if you use it, follow up on a trial or pilot, and run this website securely.

Classes of data. Identity and contact data, company and role, product and deployment preferences, enquiry content, Voice concierge transcripts if you call, first-party page paths, and technical logs. We do not keep the microphone recording.

Classes of transferees. Our UK and Hong Kong staff who need the data to respond; hosting, email, and service providers that support the Voice concierge who process data for us; and authorities if the law requires it. We do not sell or rent your data for direct marketing by third parties.

Obligatory or voluntary. Form fields marked required are needed to handle that request. Other fields and the Voice concierge are voluntary. If you do not provide required fields, we cannot process that request.

You may request access to, and correction of, your personal data. See Your rights and Contact.

7. Who we share data with

We share personal data only as needed:

  • our UK and Hong Kong personnel on a need-to-know basis;
  • service providers who host this website, send transactional email, or operate systems used for the Voice concierge — they may process data only on our instructions;
  • professional advisers (legal, accounting) under confidentiality;
  • a buyer or successor if we restructure the business, under appropriate protections;
  • courts, regulators, or law-enforcement bodies when we are legally required to.

Production customer environments stay under the customer’s control. Support access during a pilot is limited to named roles for delivery and incident response — not open standing access.

8. International transfers

Because we operate in the UK and Hong Kong, personal data may be accessed in both places. Some providers may process data in the European Economic Area, the United States, or other countries.

Where a transfer is restricted under UK GDPR, we use an approved mechanism such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, or adequacy regulations. For Hong Kong, we take practicable steps so any transfer is consistent with the PDPO, including contractual controls on our providers.

9. How long we keep data

  • Trial, pilot, and callback records — for the enquiry and typically up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact, unless a live opportunity or legal claim requires longer.
  • Voice concierge transcripts and first-party page views — typically up to 90 days, unless we must keep them longer for security or abuse investigation. We do not retain microphone audio.
  • Contract, invoice, and formal pilot records — for the relationship and the applicable limitation period (often up to six years in the UK).
  • Browser local storage — until you clear it.

When we no longer need personal data, we delete it or irreversibly anonymise it.

10. Security

We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to a public marketing site and enquiry store: access control, transport encryption, least-privilege staff access, and rate limits on public forms. No website can be guaranteed secure. Production deployments are designed to run in the customer’s environment — see Scope above and the DPA.

11. Your rights

United Kingdom and, where applicable, the EU

You may have the right to:

  • access your personal data;
  • correct inaccurate data;
  • erase data in certain cases;
  • restrict or object to processing, including processing based on legitimate interests;
  • data portability, where processing is automated and based on consent or contract;
  • withdraw consent where we rely on it (this does not affect earlier processing);
  • complain to a supervisory authority (see Contact).

Hong Kong

You may request access to personal data we hold about you and correction of inaccurate data, subject to the PDPO (including permitted refusals and a fee where allowed).

To exercise any right, email info@minskyaitech.com.hk with enough detail for us to find your records. We may need to verify your identity.

12. Cookies and local storage

This public site does not set advertising or third-party analytics cookies. We do not use a third-party marketing pixel. First-party page views are recorded without a visitor cookie.

Your browser may store:

  • a random Voice concierge user identifier (syva-talk-user) so a session can continue;
  • your last microphone choice, if you pick one;
  • an unfinished trial or pilot request draft (syva-request-access-draft) so you can leave the page and come back without retyping — cleared after you submit, or after seven days.

These are stored locally on your device. You can clear them in the browser. An internal staff cookie is used only on our private request inbox and is not set for ordinary visitors.

13. Children

SYVA and this website are for business users. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has submitted data, contact us and we will delete it.

14. Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top will change. Material changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the website after an update means you have seen the new policy.

15. Contact and complaints

Privacy questions: info@minskyaitech.com.hk. You may also use our Contact page.

United Kingdom: you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We would rather try to resolve the matter first.

Hong Kong: you can complain to the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data at pcpd.org.hk.
